Upgrading My 8125 to .NET Compact Framework 2.0

Many thanks to Austin for helping me upgrade my 8125 to .NET CF 2.0.  We had to go to a little extra work to pull the cab files out of the installer file.  Check out msiexec for more details.  For some reason ActiveSync wasn’t copying the necessary files over to the device.  We ended up extracting the cabs and manually copied them over.

You might ask “why go to all that trouble?”.  I was thinking the same thing myself, but once I started playing with WiFiFoFum I realized it was worth the hassle.  This program rocks and I’ll be sure to follow up with a few posts going into details.
