Cingular 8125 and miniSD

Ever since I purchased my 8125 I’ve been needing extra storage space. I’ve been shopping around for a miniSD card over the past week, but have yet to take the plunge. I was completely suprised yesterday when my good buddy Steve sent me a 512MB miniSD card for my birthday. He completely read my mind and it was the perfect gift…thanks Steve! Here’s a before and after shot:

I’m planning on loading this thing up with my audio books and a few videos. I recently downloaded some clips of The Office and am looking forward to moving them over. I copied the Dallas Building Implosion vid to my device and it ran flawlessly. You can see it here:

It’s incredible to see the power of Windows Mobile combined with mass storage capabilities. It won’t be long before I consider ditching my iPod. I think Apple would be crazy not to consider an iPod phone….and I’m not talking about the ROKR or the SLVR. It will be exciting to see what the next year brings.
